The Swedish Business Association of Singapore’s (SBAS) completed Annual General Meeting 2017 brought forward quite dramatic changes. Three big news are hereby announced.
When SBAS on 22 March SBAS held its 35th Annual General Meeting, which was well attended by its corporate members, one of the main items on the agenda was a proposal to transfer the association into a chamber, Swedish Chamber of Commerce Singapore (SwedCham). The Swedish Business Association Singapore, SBAS, is a General Manager for a part time services assignment.
SBAS’ main task is to support its member companies and in various ways promote their and Sweden’s relationship with Singapore. SBAS also has the task to be the common voice for member companies, in discussions with Singapore authorities and organizations. In order to be eligible for nomination, a company has to have an office in Singapore but should not be headquartered in the Republic.
Projects will be eligible for nomination as long as these initiatives have significantly enhanced the company’s business in Singapore and Southeast Asia. A nominated project must have been completed within the last 24 months in order to be eligible for the award. Initiatives which have not been launched within the last 24 months can still be eligible as long as there are recent innovations or improvements in the project.
